I know that this is old news by now, but it is getting so much press lately. I feel if the owner of the network is not savvy enough to lock it down, people accessing it should not be prosecuted for using it. However, if the person accessing it is using it to upload porn or spam, they should be prosecuted (if they can be caught!). Someone using it to read their email or do a little light news surfing doesn't deserve it. However, this guy parking in front of someone's house with a laptop I feel deserves to be caught if only for being so stupid. He could have driven over and used a known free public access point instead. Anyway, comment on this and let me know how you feel. Later.

What do you expect? US companies trying to stay competitive in the market are laying off skilled $75k/year US IT workers and instead outsourcing the job to someone in India for $15k/year. Makes you laugh when you hear companies complaining that there is a shortage of skilled IT workers. There isn't a shortage. Just re-hire the workers you have layed off. What they should say is that there are no skilled IT workers willing to work for $15k/year in the US.

Missouri workers are the biggest slackers according to a survey done by salary.com. Smells fishy to me. This must have been cooked up by companies to justify laying off people and offshoring the work.
